GC 35: Collegio Internazionale Del Gesu
  1. Collegio Internazionale Del Gesu is where non ordained scholastics live.  These are the men who are doing the first phase of theology in preparation for priestly ordination.  There are a few ordained scholastics who live in the community, two of whom are from the Mozambique Region: Inacio Jorge and Inacio Mucane.  They invited me for dinner one evening.  In the picture you see me with them and with Jaovory Julien, the delegate from Madagascar and Tom Krettek, the provincial of Wisconsin.  After dinner the two Mozambique priests took me to visit the Ignatian Rooms, the rooms where Ignatius lived and worked as General until his death in 1556.  The rooms are preserved on the second floor of the resident.
