- The day in the life of a delegate at GC 35 begins at 9:00 with the morning session. The session ends at 12:00 noon and the delegates return to the Aula at 3:30 p.m. for the afternoon session which ends at 6:00 p.m. Mass is at 6:30 p.m. For delegates like myself who have to commute to the Curia for the meetings, about two hours a day is spent in traveling. The photos below show a break in the morning session where the delegates discuss a document which had been debated in the Aula. Translations are provided in English, Spanish, French and Italian. The translators, all Jesuits, translate from booths that tower above the Aula.
