On the evening of 1 March the delegates of GC 35 gathered at the Gregorian for a reception and the announcement of the new Delegate for the Roman Houses.  The Delegate for the Roman Houses is more a less a provincial to all those Jesuits living in the international houses in Rome: the Curia, the Gregorian, the Biblican, the Oriental, Bellarmino, International College of the Gesu, Peter Canisius,etc. Fr. General has appointed Fr. Joseph Daoust, President of the Jesuit School at Berkeley, as the new delegate.
