- The universality of the Society is seen in the different rites celebrated during GC35. Recently Fr. Salim Daccache of the Near East Province celebrated Mass in the Marianite Rite (the rite Fr. Kolvenbach belonged to). He was assisted by Fr.Fadel Sidarouss (in black sweater), the Provincial of the Near East Province.
