Jesuit Mission Sunday at St. Francis Catholic Church Idimu

Sunday, the 16th of December was Jesuit Mission Day at St. Francis. The entire Surulere community (minus Itua who was on retreat) was on hand for the mission appeal organized by the Province Development Coordinator, Kevin Odey.

Jerry Aman celebrated and preached the 7:00am Mass, and DominoFrank did the pitch for the support of our province. George Quickley celebrated the 9:00am Mass with Ed Howard homilizing, and Kevin Odey up from his sickbed (recovering from malaria and typhoid) was MC for the appeal. At both Masses special new Jesuit T Shirts were launched, with one being purchased for George for N150,000. O.T. Jonah was on hand to carry all the money home.

Catherine Madubuogo and daughter Dymphna were also present to keep the Jesuits organized. Due to the team effort the day was a resounding success.
