Jesuit Development Office
of the North-West Africa Province (ANW)
Dear Benefactors & Friends,
Thank you! An African proverb says, “The one who says thank you for a favor received stands a chance of receiving more.” So, thank you for your assistance to the Jesuit Mission in Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia & Sierra Leone…
ANW Jesuit Mission is a multifaceted mission – faith & justice, pastoral programs, quality education based on the Ignatian Pedagogy, scholarship programs for indigent students of our schools, social apostolates which attends to IDPs, refugees, charities to the less privileged, journeying with the teeming youths …, spiritual apostolates (online global retreats or in-person silent retreats), promotion of ecology, livelihood and empowerment of the less privileged,… To address these apostolic preferences and the financial demands, the ANW Jesuit Development Office has a mandate to raise the needed funds.
It will please you to know that God is providing the laborers. We are blessed with booming vocations. Over 80% of the 180 men are in various stages of formation before ordination and after. Jesuit priestly formation spans an average of 12 years and continues even after priestly ordination. It alternates between periods of academic study and hands-on ministerial and teaching experience. The average annual cost per Jesuit formation is about US$ 6, 000.
We kindly seek your financial support and prayers to sustain and further the Jesuit Mission May God bless and reward you, your beloved family and your enterprises.
